This little-known 'weak' bridge arries a minor road across a deep and wide railway cutting (Cambrian Line) near Middletown, Powys, Montgomeryshire, north east of Welshpool

Riveted wrought iron or steel plate girders supported by cast iron trestles. Brick and stone abutments. Cheap wooden handrails.
1897 'TREWERN. STORM.— On Sunday morning a very severe storm of wind and rain broke over the district. Towards night it blew a hurricane, stacks were unroofed, and the roofs blown away, buildings were badly damaged, trees uprooted, while a large wooden bridge (the property of the L. & N. W. Railway Company) which crosses over the line near Middletown station, became a wreck.'[1]. Same bridge?
