Barley hummeller, for breaking off the haulm or beard of barley, without injury to the corn. It is also made with a self-acting apparatus for feeding the hopper.

Patent sack-holder, invented by Henry Gilbert, of St. Leonard's-on-Sea, for opening the mouth of a sack while being filled; with improvements by the exhibitor.
