Forging machine, to forge, draw down, and swage by steam-power small articles up to two inches, round or square, such as rollers and spindles for cotton and other machinery, bolts, studs, shaft-ends, etc., without the use of hammer or anvil.

This machine is driven by Messrs. Hick and Son's oscillating steam engine.

Selection of articles the machine is capable of producing:- Slubbing, roving and throstle spindles and flys, and all kinds of rollers for cotton machinery.
