Models of life-boats, on the twin principle, completely decked over, and divided into twenty air-tight compartments, which can neither be swamped nor upset; and as the keel forms both stem and stern-post, they are well adapted for landing in a heavy surf, no point presenting itself as a fulcrum by which they can be capsized.
