Model of a rotatory pump: calculated to draw 10 cwt. of water per minute; the model measures 13 cubic inches.
Fire-escape, in the form of a dressing table, the top of which will act as a lid. The machinery sliding out contains a cot suspended by chains, which is lowered by the action of a couple of wheels; the cot then ascends by means of springs.
