Obtained Prize Medal at the Great Exhibition, 1851.

The following are exhibited by MESSRS. GIBBS:-

  • MILL, CANNON, AND MACHINERY FOR CRUSHING, GRINDING, AND COMPRESSING TOILET SOAPS. Soaps finished by this method, being mechanically as well as chemically combined, are rendered thoroughly pleasant and free in use, without any excess of alkali.
  • Steampan fitted with archimedean screw, soap frame, and patent foot-lever press for manufacturing composite household soap.
