1868 Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway
Note: This is a sub-section of the Oudh and Rohilkhand Railway
Objective is to construct inexpensive subsidiary branches to the main trunk lines in India.
A line from Buxar on the East Indian Railway to Mooradabad or some other point in Rohilkund - 430 miles
Cawnpore branch - 81 miles
Benares branch - 76 miles
Fyzabad branch - 14 miles
Nynee Tal branch - 71 miles
Total - 672 miles (Of the branch from Lucknow to Cawnpoor, 421 miles was opened 1867.)
