1891 Stanley Cycle Show

January Show
The 14th show and held at Crystal Palace for the third year and with 225 exhibitors including cycle-making machinery. There are 1,130 machines on show and around one half have the new balloon (pneumatic) tyres fitted. Most cycles were the Safety type with Ordinaries a small minority. The show ran from Saturday 24th to Saturday the 31st January. Exhibitors included: [1] [2] [3]

November Show
The 15th show opened on the Friday 27th November and closed on Saturday 5th December at Crystal Palace. There were 312 exhibitors with 1,500 machines (some 1,400 were Safety types) despite the show being boycotted by 70 manufacturers. Exhibitors included: [4] [5] [6]

- Mr. Fearnhead of the Caledonian Road with bevelled gears to transmit the power to the rear wheels
