Entrants included

'The motor car run from Glasgow to London was completed punctually to the minute yesterday afternoon by Mr. S. F. Edge on his Napier, which arrived at the Automobile Club, Whitehall Court, at 4.50 p.m., the scheduled time, having made no stops from failure of mechanism between York and the Metropolis. About half hour later Mr. J. W. Stocks arrived on 8 h.p. DE Dion phaeton. The Motor Manufacturing Company's 8 h.p. waggonette reached town at half-past eight. The Stirling, Wolseley, and Argyll cars had retired from the run, but the two Eagle tandems were expected to arrive at a late hour. Yesterday's journey was of one of 209.75 miles.'[3]
