'H. A. Collier was in great form at Brooklands on Saturday, when with his Matchless machines he won five events at the meeting of the Motor Cycling Club. He secured the club championship for motor two scratch races, and two handicaps. In winning the three laps level race for riders of machines up to 1000 c.c. he attained the highest speed of the day, namely, 67.3 miles per hour. His pace for the two lope scratch race for riders of machines up to 560 c.c., using benzol as fuel, was 60.46 miles per hour. The club ear championship to C. F. Halsall (8.6 Wilton), with a speed of 54.31 miles per hour.'[1]
