'The 11 h.p. Humber car at Brooklands on the 13th inst. broke all previous records in Class B from the flying half-mile to ten laps, viz.:—Flying half-mile, 83.53 miles per hour; flying kilometre, 82.85 miles per hour; flying mile, 82.10 miles per hour; ten laps. 79.83 miles per hour. It will be remembered that this car broke all records from 50 miles to 200 miles, including one hour to four hours, on July 17, 1913, and now holds all records in its class from the half-mile to the four hours.'[1]
