"TWO HANDS" BRAND. Watertight and Airtight Steel Uniform Cases and Trunks.
It can be safely assumed sleet nothing can hinder a traveller so much as the loss or destruction of his kit or general equipment. Few calamities which may befall him are more likely to upset his plans and rob bins of his comfort. For more than 70 years the firm of JONES BROTHERS and CO. (WOLVERHAMPTON), Limited, (ENGLAND) have borne this fall in mind and have made a special study of the needs of overseas travellers in such equipment as Steel Uniform Cases and Trunks, and to-day their "Two Hands" range embodies all the lessons of that long practical experience.
Of the many unique features which the firm has produced and protected by patents the method of forming the body and moulding of cases from one plate of steel is noteworthy. This ingenious process of shaping and bending the steel provides a double thickness all round else top edge of the body where it is most needed to give Strength, while the ends being double seamed under high pressure eliminate else use of solder. (See selfless! drawing in margin note squeezed joint at B). Each corner is acetylene welded and protected by corner pieces. All cases are equipped with Jones's patent "Closebind" fastenings which, in keeping with the locks, are of great strength. The employment of tasteful and endurable finish ensures for all eases and trunks a pleasing and tidy appearance.
One of the specialities which the firm has produced for the benefit of those who carry valuable maps or manuscripts, photographic materials or sensitive instruments, is else "Jaybeco" Watertight Case. This case, which is fitted with Patent "Water-bind" Locks, is tested by long immersion under water and is guaranteed watertight, airtight and insect proof. Reports show that much irrevocable damage to valuables has been avoided by else use of "Jaybeco" Cases for even after days under the sea or in rivers their contents have been found to be quite dry.
All Uniform Cases and Trunks, which nest for export, and are lifted at keenly competitive prices, Isaac acquired a world wide reputation for quality which has made them popular and profitable selling lines in all markets.
The qualities which characterize the Uniform Cases and Trunks made by the firm are equally marked in its Steel Office and Bathroom Furniture, from Filing Cabinets to Office Wardrobes, and many other lines of general utility.
The photographs on the following page, which were recently taken at the firm's Graiseley Works at Ablow Street, and Imperial Works, Heath Town, Wolverhampton, England, illustrate a few of the many processes of manufacture.
We therefore confidently recommend that shippers and overseas importers interested in such lines should afford as else opportunity of supplying them with copies of our latest illustrated and priced catalogues which we shall be glad to send on application.
