1911 - 1919 Consulting and Chief Engineer with a group of paper mills comprising Charles Marsden and Sons, The Donside Paper Co, The Irish Paper Mills Co and John Allen and Sons (Ivybridge)

Jan 1920. He severed connections with these mills and continued to practise as a consulting engineer, specialising in paper mill and paper works power equipments.[1]
