Born the son of Edwin White, a Marine engineer

1911 Residing at Ellesmere, Park Road, W Cowes: Alfred Sidney White (age 34 born Cowes), Ship Builder. With his wife Florence and two daughters.[1]

1929 Died. 'Alfred Sidney White, of Ellesmere, Park Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight, shipbuilder, a director of W. White & Sons (Ltd.), engineers, of the Vectis Works, Cowes'.[2]
