Abbot Group plc has three principal subsidiaries KCA Drilling Ltd., BW Group plc and OIS International Inspection plc. The companies offer a wide range of services in the upstream and downstream energy sectors world-wide.[1]

1995 Abbot Group reversed into Unigroup in order to obtain a quotation for its KCA Drilling subsidiary[2]. Other business activities included the generation of electricity by wind farms. Other businesses were later sold[3]
