1899 'A steel wire-rope suspension bridge of 160 ft. span and 5 ft. wide, is to be erected across the River Taff at Abercynon in South Wales, to the designs and estimates of Mr. Louis Harper, A.M.I.C.E., Aberdeen.[1]
