1839 To be let. Admiral Vernon Inn with yard, stabling, Skittle grounds etc.[3]

1866 Henry Mitchell, landlord of the Admiral Vernon Inn, Alphington.[4]

1871 Building gutted by fire. Landlord is Mr. Mitchell.[5]

1873 For sale. The site of the Admiral Vernon Inn, lately destroyed by fire.[6]
