1914 Designer of the "Aerotug", a shallow-draught craft driven by a propeller revolving in the air instead of in the water. James Pollock and Sons designed the hull; Tom Taylor and Sons built the hull at Staines; Pollock supplied the Bolinders (Swedish) engine. Tests were conducted on the Surrey Canal. Technical adviser was Lucien Blin Desbleds.
