1915 'It will be seen from our advertisement columns that the motor garage business carried on by ex. Bailie Smith at 18 Bank Street, known as the Monklands Garage, has now been taken over by Messrs. Agnew and Harrow, who will give personal attention to all hires, repairs, etc., entrusted to them. Mr. Harrow has had 15 years' experience in the motor repair trade, and has been connected with some of the principal garaged in Glasgow and London. His partner, Mr. Agnew, is a well-known and trusted local citizen, and with close attention to business they hope to be favoured with a share of public patronage.'[2]
1920 Agnew and Harrow Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £4,230, to carry on the business of motor engineers and mechanics.[3]
1924 The business of motor dealers, carried on by Agnew and Harrow Limited under the name of Ford Motor Supplies at 225 Duke Street, Glasgow, was sold and transferred to Gregor Cameron and David Davidson Cameron to carry on the business under the name of Ford Motor Supplies.[4] The company went into liquidation a few months later.[5]
