'Inquest was held Dartmouth yesterday on Albert Edward Latter, mate the schooner Princess of Thule, which was wrecked at the entrance to Dartmouth Harbour the 5th inst. Mrs. Edith Latter, 25. Oxford-street St. Thomas. Exeter, identified the body as that of her husband. Evidence was given that the schooner became unmanageable during the gale, and was dashed on the rocks near Millbay Cove, Kingswear.'[1]
