Born the son of John Henry Walker, a mill owner. Brother of Douglas Walker

1891 Residing at Sandafield House, Stocksbank, Mirfield: John Henry Walker (age 34 born Sandy Creek, Queensland, Australia), General Manager of Woollen Mill. With his wife Emily, daughter Hilda, and sons Edward S. Walker (age 6), Godfrey A. Walker (age 3) and Alec G. Walker (age 2).[1]

1918 Married at Tunbridge Wells to Kathleen Irene Earle

1921 Residing at Myrtle Cottage, Newlyn, Cornwall: Alec George Walker (age 32 born Yorkshire), Silk Manufacturer (employer). With his wife Kathleen Irene walker (age 30 born Eltham), Artist, and their daughter Penelope Ann.[2]

1933 Married (2) at Holyhead to Vera Birchenhough

1938 Alec George Walker of Grafton Manor, York, and now of Dulverton, Somerset.[3]
