Born the son of Robert Crossman, a Brewer.

1851 Residing at Shern Hall Street, Walthamstow: Robert Crossman (age 47), Brewer. With his wife Sarah Crossman, three daughters and six sons - James Crossman, Edward Crossman, Robert Crossman, Alexander Crossman, Joseph Crossman and John Crossman.[1]

1871 Birth of son Douglas Crossman

1911 Residing at Cokenach, Royston, Herts: Alexander Crossman (age 69 born Berwick upon Tweed), Shareholder in Brewery. With his wife Eliza and daughter Hilda Sarah.[2]

1916 April 04th. Died, of Cokenach and the Albion Brewery. Owned Ardlussa, Jura.
