1822 Born at Rochester the son of Thomas Hubbard, a Tailor.

1846 Married at Plymouth to Susan Evans Derry and had one son and five daughters

1861 At Plymouth as a contractor and builder employing 350 men.[1]

1871 At Plymouth, Magistrate, Landowner and Builder employing 34 men.[2]

1881 At Compton Gifford, Magistrate and Railway Director.</ref>1881 Census</ref>

1908 Resigned from GWR.[3]

1910 Died. Of Homefield, Ealing, age 88.[4]
