1852 Company established.

1896 Alexander McGavin and Company Limited, Glasgow, was incorporated, with capital of £12,000, to carry on the business of bonded warehouse proprietors, shipping and forwarding agents, and wine and spirit merchants.[1]

1936 Although the original company was not wound up, a new company, Alexander McGavin and Company (Glasgow) Limited, 266 Clyde Street, Glasgow, was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £6,000, to carry on the business of bonded warehouse proprietors or keepers, distillers, etc.[2]

1957 Alexander McGavin and Company (Glasgow) Limited went into voluntary liquidation.[3]

1977 Alexander McGavin and Company Limited changed its name to Interbond Wines and Spirits Services Limited.[4]

1993 The company was dissolved.[5]
