1869 Born in Kilmarnock, son of Alexander Walker (1837-1889) and Isabel (nee McKemmie)[1]
1926 Member of the National Fuel and Power Committee
1950 Sir Alexander Walker, a former chairman of John Walker and Sons, the whisky distillers, died at Troon, Ayrshire. He was 81. Sir Alexander was a great-grandson (sic) of the original Johnny Walker, founder of the company.[2]
