1913 'Mr. Alfred Barrett, who is at present the manager at the Gibraltar Mill, in the Hyde district, is giving up that position to take up the post of manager and salesman at the Roach Mill Spinning Co., Heywood. Mr. Barrett was employed at the Roach up to a short time ago, when he left to go to the Gibraltar.'[1]
