1824 Born the son of James Bramall, a File Maker, and his wife Elizabeth.

1851 Living at 53 Green Lane, Sheffield: Elizabeth Bramall (age 58 born Sheffield), Widow. With her three sons; Henry Bramall (age 22 born Sheffield), File Smith; Alfred Bramall (age 17 born Sheffield), File Smith App.; and , File Smith App.; and Edwin Bramall (age 13 born Sheffield).[1]

1861 Married at Barrow upon Soar to Mary Ann Squire

1911 Living at 114 Westbourne Road, Sheffield: Alfred Bramall (age 77 born Sheffield), Retired - Widower. One servant.[2]

1913 August 10th. Died, of Westbourne Road, Sheffield. Probate to Richard Frederick Wardrobe and others.
