Alfred E. Wright (c1892-1941)

1941 Died. 'Mr Alfred E. Wright, a chief engineer with the North Scotland and Orkney and Shetland Company, has died as the result of an accident. He joined the firm eight years ago. He is survived by his wife, who lives at 18 Menzies Road, Torry, Aberdeen. Forty-nine years of age, Mr Wright served his apprenticeship as a marine engineer with Abernethy and Company, Aberdeen. His father and brother, both of whom are dead, were also in the employment of that company. Mr Wright served in the Merchant Navy throughout the last war. He was member of the Neptune Lodge Freemasons.[1]
