1877 Patent. '283. To Alfred Francis John Fisher, Civil Engineer, of Pelsall, in the.county of Stafford, for the invention of "improvements in the construction of certain parts of puddling furnaces."'[2]
1881 Living at Lichfield Road, Rushall, Staffs: Alfred F. J. Fisher (age 43 born Strood, Kent), Pig Iron Manufacturer - Widower. With his two daughters Dorothy J. C. Fisher (age 7 born Stoke) and Margaret M. Fisher (age 5 born Pelsall). Two servants.[3]
