ALLARD K2 SPORTS TWO-SEATER
One of the most successful Allard productions is the J2 Competition Two-seater, a car specially evolved for the sporting motorist and designed to accommodate a variety of the larger capacity American engines, such as the Edelbrock, Meyer, Navarro and Cadillac units.
This particular model is eminently suitable for racing and hill-climbing events and has achieved considerable success in Europe and the Americas. However, it was decided to develop the design into a less specialised form, expressly for the motorist who prefers to combine everyday use and touring with participation in an occasional club competition.
The result is the Allard K.2 Sports Two-seater. In this version the individual aero windscreens have been replaced by a large windshield and all- weather equipment. The K.2 illustrated here is a special export model, with left-hand drive.
