ALLARD SPORTS SALOON

The Allard Sports Saloon is an ingenious and happy combination of sports car and family car. It is capable of high performance under international competition conditions, but is also designed to accommodate an average family party if required, as the independently adjustable front seats give ample room for three abreast.

The main idea behind the incorporation of Ford V.8 engines in Allard cars is that Allard owners can secure service from the many Ford agents for their engine, gearbox and transmission. Also, standard Ford V.8 engines in Allard cars can be exchanged under the Ford engine exchange scheme.

This car has a natural appeal to motorists overseas and several features have been incorporated with this in mind, such as the opening windshield, which gives comfort in tropical conditions and adds to safety in the poor visibility of foggy weather.
