1961 The Universal Asbestos Manufacturing Co and Thermo-Plastics Limited formed, as equal partners, a new manufacturing company, Allied Structural Plastics Limited, with a capital of £100,000. The intention was to take advantage of the growing use, and demand for, plastic products in the building industry.[1]

1992 The company, by now styled Bodiam Securities Limited, was dissolved.[2]
