1864 Patent to Alphonse Normandy, of Montague-place, Clapham-road, in the county of Surrey, son and administrator of Alphonse Rene Le Mire de Normandy, of Odin Lodge, 5, King's-road, Clapham-park, Surrey, deceased, for an invention of "improvements in ships' hearths or cooking apparatus."[2]
