1958 Andrew Kay and Company (Curling Stones) Limited, of Victoria Works, Mauchline, was registered with capital of £10,000, to carry on business as dealers in and manufacturers of curling stones and all accessories and requisites connected therewith.[1]

Two stone turning/grinding lathes made by Andrew Barclay, Sons and Co of Kilmarnock, to the design of James Wylie of Kays, are on display at Summerlee Museum of Industrial Life.
