1903 The company was registered on 22 August.[1] The capital of the firm was £50,000 and the public were not invited to subscribe. The stated intention of the company was to carry on the business of shipowners and to acquire the steamships Ardle, Stranton, and Naworth Castle, of Dundee.[2]

1916 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[3]

1920 Another company of the same name was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £50,000, to carry on the business of shipowners, shippers, etc.[4]

1922 This company went into voluntary liquidation.[5]
