The mill was located immediately south of Stalybridge Aqueduct, its walls being flanked by the River Tame and the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. The truncated chimney and some of the buildings survive, and part of the mill is currently (2015) occupied by Bendcrete Climbing Walls Ltd.
