1916 Joined Armstrong Siddeley Motors to work on the Jaguar aero-engine
Joined Wallace (Glasgow) to look after the Burt-McCollum interests
Returned to Armstrong Siddeley but then went to Continental Motors Corporation of Detroit
1925 Left UK for USA
1929-30 Several patents to A. M. Niven for Sleeve Valves.[1]
1930 Married at Detroit to Dorothy Bernese Austermann and had one daughter
1940 Draughtsman Automobile in Detrout. With wife Dorothy and daughter Joyce.<ref>1940 USA Census</ref?1966 Died at Detroit, USA.
