Argentine Great Western Railway

Railway from Buenos Aires to Mendoza where connection would be made to the Transandine line to Chile.

1903 the Argentine Great Western Railway took over a lease on the working and management of the Transandine Railway which was under construction and in financial difficulties. [1]

1905 With the Buenos Aires and Pacific Railway, the 2 companies agreed to guarantee the stock of the Transandine, thereby enabling them to raise additional funds.

1907 Acquired by the Buenos Aires and Pacific Railway on a lease, which also took over the working of the Transandine.
