1939 Died. 'Funeral Of Mr. A. C. Vallance, of Mansfield. There was a large gathering at the Old Meeting House, Mansfield, to-day for the funeral service for Mr. Arthur Clayton Vallance, of 2 Layton-avenue, Mansfield, a wellknown member of the church, who collapsed and died with tragic suddenness at the annual meeting of the congregation on Monday night. Mr. Vallance, who was 75, was chairman of directors to A. C. Vallance, Ltd., photographic and radio dealers.'[1]
