Born at Gloucester the son of James Fielding

1911 Living at Rikenel, Park Road, Gloucester: James Fielding (age 64 born Bowlee, near Manchester), Engineer. With his wife Harriet Fielding (age 62 born Sowerby Bridge), one daughter Edith Rickie Fielding and two sons; Arthur F. Fielding (age 34 born Gloucester), Engineer, and S. J. Fielding (age 28 born Gloucester), Engineer.[1]

1948 Died. 'Mr. Arthur Fitton Fielding, son of the late Ald. James Fielding and grandson of Mr. Samuel Fielding, founder of the Atlas Engineering Works, who has died at his home, Northside, Stroud-road, at the age 71. He had been an outstanding figure In the world sport.'[2]
