ARTHUR GORDON HAIGH, B.A. (Cantab.), born on the 29th June, 1885, was killed in action in France on the 14th February, 1916.
On completing his practical training under his father, Mr. A. H. Haigh, M. Inst. C.E., he was employed by Messrs. J. Mowlem and Company on a section of the London main drainage contract, and subsequently obtained appointments as an Assistant Engineer on the Rajputana-Malwa Railway and the National Transcontinental Railway of Canada.
He obtained a commission in the Royal Engineers and went to the front in June, 1915.
Mr. Haigh was elected an Associate Member on the 3rd December, 1912.
