Westminster and the Royal Indian Engineering College, Coopers Hill. Appointed in 1900 to the Indian Public Works Department as Assistant Engineer. Imperial: promoted to Executive Engineer, 1908; appointed Under-Secretary to Government, 1915; promoted to Superintending Engineer, 1916; and appointed Sanitary Engineer to Government. Member of the Punjab Club, Lahore.
