ARVID REUTERSKJOLD died on June 27, 1915, at the age of forty-eight. He was the managing director of the Gimo Ironworks in the Dannemora district from March 1887 to 1904. After that period he became a large shareholder in the Hellefors Iron and Steel Works in Sweden, and held the position of managing director of this works from 1905 until his death, and under his energetic administration the undertaking prospered and expanded. He was for some time a member of the first Chamber of the Swedish Parliament.

Mr. Reuterskjold was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1906.
