Augusto Severo (1864-1902) was a Brazilian aeronaut from Albuquerque, Maranhao.

The image shows his airship Pax (or Le Paix) which exploded and caused his death and that of his assistant.

He now has an airport named after him called Augusto Severo International Airport in Brazil.
