B. Thompson and Co (of Frome)
B. Thompson of Motor Works, Frome, Somerset built the Achilles a shaft-drive voiturette manufactured between 1904 and 1908.
A range of cars were advertised, mostly with single cylinder engines by De Dion. Other mechanical parts were also bought in and it seems likely that only the bodies were originated by Achilles. At least 5 different models were produced.
Archilles model. 1903-1908
Achilles cars were sold by B. Thompson and Co, of Frome, Somerset, but probably made by the Parisian firm of Lacoste et Battmann, and powered by Aster or De Dion-Bouton engines.
