BAGOT WILLIAM BLOOD, born at Leamington on the 6th November, 1844, died at Dalkey, Co. Dublin, on the 4th February, 1910.
He joined the Indian Public Works Department in 1866, and subsequently became Superintendent of Way and Works of the Rajputana-Malwa railway, afterwards absorbed in the Bombay, Baroda and Central Indian system.
For some years before his retirement in 1893, he held executive engineering charge of several hundred miles of main line and branches on the latter system.
He was for some years Colonel in command of the Kajputana-Malwa Volunteer Rifles.
He was elected a Member of The Institution on the 5th March, 1878.
