Baldwin Latham (1836-1917), Civil Engineer, Westminster.

1836 Born at Nantwich the son of George Latham

1866 Was engineer to the Local Board of Health, Croydon. Designed a version of Poncelet's water-wheel for Mr Robert Campbell, of Buscot Park, in Berkshire, one of the very few wheels of its kind in England.[1]

1870s Responsible for a number of water supply and sewerage schemes in Surrey and other places.

1870 Illustrations and specification for pumping equipment for Dantzic Swage Works, designed by Latham.[2]

1900 Proposed a scheme for enhancing the drinking water supply to Margate

1911 Living at Park Hill House, Stanhope Road, Croydon: Baldwin Latham (age 74 born Nantwich), Civil Engineer and Employer. With his wife Ann Elizabeth Latham (age 68 born Ely) and their daughter Katharine Elizabeth Keen (age 44 born Croydon); and their grandchildren Geoffrey Hugh Shadwell Keen (age 6 born Bath; and Gordon Shadwell Keen (age 3 born North Stoke, Som.); and their son Vivian Cliff Latham (age 3 born Croydon). Also a visitor and four servants.[3]
