'...the Partnership between the undersigned, Alfred Barfoot, and John James Bodmer, in the trade or business of Patent Laminae Manufacturers, at Newport, in the county of Monmouth, under the firm of Barfoot and Co., has been dissolved by mutual consent, from the 1st day of August last, and that in future the same trade or business will be carried on by the said John James Bodmer, on his own sole account...'[1]
