1822 Sale Notice: 'To Anchorsmiths, Iron Founders, Engineers, Millwrights, &c. — Leasehold Manufactory, Freehold Dwelling House, Stock, and Plant — By WINSTANLEY and SONS,
On the Premises, in the BEAR GARDEN, BANKSIDE, TO-MORROW, the 10TH Instant, and Following Day, at Eleven, The valuable Plant, Machinery, Utensils and Stock in Trade, at the Bear Garden Iron Works; consisting of a capital engine of four horse power, large cast iron and other lathes, and appropriate tools; excellent mill work in horizontal shafts, with spur, bevel, and drum wheels; several sets of large bellows, brick forges and iron work, stout cranes of extensive sweep, A, cranes, Hercules, anvils, forge hammers, tongs, purchases, chisels, grindstones, vices, horse trucks, excellent wrought-iron bookcase, iron chests, wrought and cast-iron, and steel, bars; bolts and plates, wood patterns, and a variety of other articles. To be viewed Wednesday preceding and Morning of Sale, when Catalogues may be had on the Premises; Messrs Kaye, Freshfield, and Kaye, New Bank-buildings; and of Winstanley and Sons, Paternoster-row.
