1900 Worked under an agreement by the Beira Railway, Beira Junction Railway and the Mashonaland Railway

1918 Owns the line from Fontesville to Umtali where it joins the Mashonaland Railway. Length is 169 miles. Officers: E. R. Ross (Umtali), General Manager; G. Holgate (Bulawayo), Resident Engineer.[2]
